Don’t you just cringe anymore when you watch the television news? I know I do. I’m stuck though because I do have to watch it for my job and so turning it off entirely isn’t possible. Still, I find all the negativity draining. From the moment the “talking heads” begin the newscast we are bombarded with an economy that has drained us, white collar crooks who have stolen from us, and innocent, young children who are taken from us. I know it is the reality, but does it have to be the same reality every night and does it have to make up the first fifteen minutes of every newscast? How about some good news? The troops are coming home I hear, many who are still employed are satisfied with their jobs despite the economy, and both OSU basketball teams have a likely shot in the NCAA tournament! See there is good news afterall! Look at me, I’m a regular “Pollyanna”! And now…the weather…..
