“Paying our respects and paying for it a bit too!”
No matter how hard we try to give both MJ and Farrah their respective due today…there are always haters who like to call the station and complain we aren’t giving Farrah enough attention, or Michael Jackson was a sicko and doesn’t deserve to be recognized at all. Many callers were just plain MEAN! Why can’t people just chill out?
Are there more people who are angry these days, or does it just seem that way? Maybe I am just more aware of it because I am in the bullseye of the target by being on the radio; but I really don’t get everyone’s rampant anger.
Anger is such a self-consuming force. It eats away at the very core of your being and then spews out on anyone in its path. I hope that it isn’t making a meal out of you. If so, you need to stop and ask yourself why. I even pray you can be still and keep swallowing back the venom, and learn to overcome the destructiveness of the behavior. After all, we are really only renting this space on earth and we stay here for only as long as out Maker deems necessary. “Love thy neighbor….”, that’s what the ultimate landlord instructed of us. Give it a shot! Who knows, you might actually like the space you’re leasing!
